We offer two ways to tell your story on video.
A Basic Production, recorded from your home on Zoom, with a pre-designed format and concept, and a fixed length and cost.
A Custom Production, which is developed, formatted, recorded, and priced according to your particular specifications.
Both choices give you the same expertise, creativity, support, and quality we have been proud to provide as Studio 27 Media, LLC, for over 50 years.
THE BASIC PRODUCTION
We start with a get-acquainted conversation via phone or on Zoom, during which we ask questions about your life stories, how you’d like to tell them, and about any photos you may want to incorporate into the video.
We will then instruct you how to get the best results, including positioning your computer, arranging your lighting, and your clothing choices.
We will also help you identify the photos you would like to include and send you a special box for mailing them to us to digitize and include in your edited video.
We will handle your photos very carefully, and return them within 72 hours.
The recording session itself will take place soon after the initial meeting and after we have selected the prompts or questions, we will ask to help your story flow.
After we record your story, we will edit it to make pauses or mistakes disappear. Then we will ad your photos, titles, and some music to complete the production. The final product will be sent to you as a DVD, Flash Drive, or download.
The cost ranges from $1,495. To $2,495., depending on the planned and desired finished length (usually 15 to 30 minutes), and the number of photos or films you include (limited to 6 to 12 photos and 1 film or video). Contact us. for your quote.
THE CUSTOM PRODUCTION
This is our premium option in which you can create a very personal, movie-like record of your life or business story.
The development of the custom production follows the same outline, with the these differences. A custom production can be any length you prefer. It can include other persons speaking on camera. It can be shot at your home or business.
It can include many more illustrative images and films, including stock photos of locations and eras that will add vividness to your story. During the editing process we can identify persons or objects by highlighting them in group photos.
When all this is accomplished, we add appropriate music, video effects, and titles, and commit your movie to a digital file. We will then issue DVD’s, Flash Drives or downloads for family, friends. and associates as you request.
